Cybersecurity Architect

Ryerson is seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Architect to join our team. As a Cybersecurity Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure network architectures, specializing in data and LAN security. You will work closely with systems design, redesign, and implementation teams to ensure the security of our systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of security concepts, including IP, routers, switches, and ports. They will also have experience with log management, SaaS-based EDR consoles, and other Cyber management consoles. A degree in Computer Science, Networking, or IT related field is preferred, along with 5+ years of work-related experience.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design and implement secure network architectures
* Evaluate and advise on defensive and offensive designs
* Assist in responding to security-related incidents
* Regularly communicate vital information to upper management
* Manage a problem resolution process from initial reporting to resolution

Requirements:

* Associates degree in Computer Science, Networking, or IT related field (Bachelor's degree preferred)
* 5+ years of work-related experience
* Strong understanding of IP, routers, switches, and ports
* Experience with or ability to learn various log management, SaaS-based EDR consoles, and other Cyber management consoles
