KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assessment. Evaluate and diagnose acute health issues and minor injuries; conduct physical examinations and implement treatment strategies; monitor responses for both acute and chronic health conditions; select and order necessary diagnostic and health maintenance procedures.
Treatment. Prescribe medications, perform minor procedures, and coordinate care; provide health education and guidance regarding treatment options; communicate with and counsel family members; recommend community resources and refer patients to collaborating physicians or specialists.
Administrative Duties. Execute administrative tasks such as updating patient records, billing codes, and completing required documentation from external agencies.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
MASTER'S DEGREE:
Nursing (Mandatory)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
M - Medium Work - Involves exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing, or squatting.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:
RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)
NP - Nurse Practitioner Certification - New York State Education Department (NYSED)
SALARY RANGE:
$95,000 - $150,000.00
The listed salary range is a good faith representation of potential base pay for successful candidates. It may be adjusted in the future. Compensation is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contractual agreements.
