Requirements:

* Active DoD Secret clearance
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent experience
* 10+ years broad technical and managerial experience with DoD, including systems engineering analysis in support of major acquisition programs
* Specific expertise in Airworthiness
* Working knowledge of MIL-HDBK-516
* Self-motivated, detail oriented, responsible team player able to work independently with minimal daily direction
* Strong written and verbal communications skills
* Ability to travel up to 20%

Desired Qualifications:

* Top Secret clearance, SCI eligible
* Masters Degree in related field
* Prior experience as a Chief Engineer for ACAT programs
* Subject Matter Expert (SME) level knowledge of all sections of MIL-HDBK-516
* Integrate models to modern requirements management, architecture, and systems engineering software
* Develop and extend system models using existing requirements, interface documentation, and related design and systems engineering documents
* Prior Experience working with other DoD Stakeholders
* Experience executing alternative/rapid acquisition authorities
* Broad experience with development, coordination and communication of system engineering strategies and recommendations with mid- and senior-level Service and OSD personnel
