About Pavilion Compounding Pharmacy

We are a fast-paced and vibrant compounding pharmacy located in West Buckhead, offering great perks to our team members.

As a full-time Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for handling customer transactions and inventory, evaluating prescriptions, recording and verifying patient information, all while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with regulations.

You'll work under the supervision of a pharmacist, processing and filling medication orders, distributing prescription drugs and pharmaceutical supplies. You may also assist with weighing, measuring and checking prescriptions in a lab environment.

To succeed in this role, you should be comfortable working with customers in a fast-paced environment and able to receive general instructions on routine work, and detailed instructions on new orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare medication and other healthcare products for patients
  • Measure dosage of medications, according to prescription orders
  • Process prescriptions using computer software
  • Label and record dosage information
  • Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Manage incoming calls and field patient questions
  • Basic math aptitude, ability to measure accurately, interpret instructions and carry them out
  • Attention to detail to perform quality assurance methods to ensure medications are prepared properly
  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong time management skills and experience managing numerous tasks simultaneously

Requirements:

  • Previous Pharmacy experience preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Current registration with the Georgia Board of Pharmacy required. Certified Technician within 6 months of hire date is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year
