Home Health Weekend Registered Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Health Weekend Registered Nurse to join our team at Interim HealthCare Inc. in Atlanta, GA.

About the Role

As a Home Health Weekend Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes. You will work closely with a team of physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their medical needs and develop effective care plans
  • Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, including wound care, medication management, and education on disease management
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and industry developments
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program and active RN license in GA
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in home healthcare
  • HCHB charting experience
  • CPR certification, negative TB screening or chest x-ray
  • Drivers license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
  • Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations
  • Clinical proficiency in nursing specialty, strong communication skills, and compassion
