The Customer Service Representative plays a crucial role in enhancing the sales of products and services within the Service Centre and Copy Centre. This position requires a strong focus on customer satisfaction, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for returns, exchanges, and purchases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service with accuracy and professionalism during transactions.
- Identify opportunities for additional sales during customer interactions.
- Assist in resolving customer issues, including complaints, returns, and exchanges.
- Respond to customer inquiries related to copy and technology services.
- Manage incoming calls and direct customers as needed.
- Accurately process copy orders and maintain register integrity.
- Adhere to cash register operations and maintain privacy standards during transactions.
- Secure company funds and inventory at cash stations.
- Ensure the accuracy of customer orders through regular checks.
- Complete daily cash register documentation and obtain necessary verifications.
- Follow procedures for special and pre-paid orders, ensuring proper completion and pricing.
- Maintain and stock front-end merchandise areas as assigned.
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies and materials.
- Log in and out of the cash till as required.
- Understand and comply with all company policies and procedures relevant to this role.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations and common areas as assigned.
- Propose suggestions for business improvements.
- Stay informed by checking communication boards regularly.
- Maintain a safe working environment and report any hazards to management.
- Ensure personal belongings are checked by management before leaving the premises.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- Ability to address customer concerns diplomatically.
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage customers professionally.
- Effective communication skills across various platforms.
- Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment.
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Preferred:
- Prior experience in a related role (3 months to 1 year).
- Completion of high school education or equivalent.
