We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our team at Sonic Automotive. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for processing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process financial transactions, including receipts, payments, and deposits
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and journals
  • Prepare and reconcile financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist with financial analysis and reporting, including preparing financial reports and presentations
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in accounting or related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers
  • Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Excel
