About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Water Treatment Engineer to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. As a key member of our Mountain Water Business, you will be responsible for leading water treatment process design projects from pursuit through closeout, working closely with internal personnel, subconsultants, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead water treatment process design projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strategic client relationships in the Municipal Water and Utilities markets in the Southwest United States.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support the development of a strong network of teams across the region.
  • Support Stantec's reputation for innovation and research through participation in industry conferences and academic partnerships.
Requirements
  • Minimum 15 years' relevant professional experience, with at least 5 years of experience managing and/or coordinating water treatment projects.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Utah or ability to achieve within one year of hire.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Technical expertise in relevant areas of water treatment process design.
