Job Title: Hardware Cyber Security Incident Response Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Hardware Cyber Security Incident Response Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the security of our memory and storage solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop secure firmware for volatile and non-volatile memory systems
  • Evaluate and create firmware for new high-performance memory controllers and Solid State Drives (SSD) to improve performance, reduce power, latency, and SoC complexity
  • Partner with multi-disciplinary engineers to resolve multi-functional product development issues
  • Triage failures, file bug reports, and assist development teams in isolating issues
  • Formally assess and document vulnerabilities in Micron products
  • Review security mechanisms and security architecture of products
  • Function as an authority in secure product development
  • Handle product security incidents
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in information assurance/information security
  • Experience with analyzing vulnerabilities, including severity ratings (CVSS and Common Criteria)
  • Practical and theoretical cryptography experience
  • Ability to work with multiple teams across a large organization
  • Understanding of Secure Development Lifecycles

  • Embedded system experience
  • Hardware design experience
  • Understanding of Agile and CI/CD software development
  • Experience with Hardware development
  • Supply Chain security experience
