Position Overview

The Dietary Aide plays a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dining areas. This position involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at maintaining high standards of hygiene and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain sanitary conditions in the kitchen and pot & pan areas.
  • Perform cleaning tasks for floors, walls, dish machines, and kitchen equipment.
  • Assist the material handler as required.
Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in food service within an institutional or commercial environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with chemical sanitizers is essential.
  • A valid Texas Food Handlers Card is mandatory prior to employment and must remain current throughout employment.
