Job Overview

As a Low Voltage Systems Specialist at Southeast Technologies LLC, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing low voltage systems and security systems. This includes IP cameras, access control, structured cabling, fiber optics, data switches, wireless access points, and computer hardware and networking components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and repair low voltage systems and security systems
  • Use power tools and equipment to complete installations and repairs
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate installation
  • Design and build low voltage systems based on client specifications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with low voltage systems
  • Install computer hardware and networking components as part of system integration
  • Provide technical support to customers regarding system operation and maintenance
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Low Voltage Technician or similar role
  • Familiarity with power tools and their safe operation
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics accurately
  • Understanding of computer hardware components and networking principles
  • Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot system issues effectively
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members
