Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse I to join our team at NuHealth/Nassau Health Care Corporation. As a Licensed Practical Nurse I, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the total physical care of patients, including administering medications and performing treatments as prescribed.
  • Collect specimens and chart and record patient care and medication administration.
  • Work under the direct supervision of a registered nurse or physician, using tact and judgment in patient care.
  • May assist in the supervision of non-professional subordinates.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing or completion of equivalent study in an approved program in professional nursing.
  • Possession of a current license or eligibility to be licensed to practice as a practical nurse in the State of New York.
