Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team at Delphinus Engineering. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical power systems engineering and a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development of advanced power distribution systems for land and sea applications.
  • Perform system-level analysis and trade studies to inform the development of system architectures and requirements.
  • Provide technical oversight of contractors and review documentation such as electrical and mechanical schematics.
  • Support testing and troubleshooting in laboratory and relevant environments.
  • Support proposal development and source selection.
  • Support the development of Navy standards for technologies such as batteries and power system interfaces.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in electrical power systems engineering.
  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Ability to obtain a DoD Secret level security clearance.
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with power, analog, and mixed signal electronics.
  • Experience with power distribution and grounding of DC and AC power systems and electronics.
  • Experience with energy generation, storage, and conversion technologies.
  • Experience with renewable energy and hybrid power systems.

This is a full-time exempt position. The successful candidate will be based in West Bethesda, MD and will be required to work on-site at least 40% of the time.
