Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN

ProMedica Health System is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN to join our team at Arden Courts ProMedica Memory Care Bath in Akron. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and supervising nursing personnel.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN will be responsible for coordinating care delivery, ensuring that resident needs are met in accordance with professional standards of practice. This includes supervising nursing personnel, reading thermometers, charts, and testing equipment, and communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise nursing personnel to deliver nursing care and coordinate care delivery
  • Read thermometers, charts, and testing equipment
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Provide high-quality patient care and ensure resident needs are met
  • Supervise caregivers and ensure they are following facility policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years clinical experience
  • Gerontological nursing experience, including dementia population, preferred
  • Valid and current LPN/LVN state license
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English in an understandable manner
