Pinehurst Surgical Clinic PA is a dynamic and growing healthcare organization seeking a dedicated and skilled Clinical Team Member to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Clinical Team Member to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinic setting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient experience, performing clinical tasks, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide excellent patient care, including preparing patients for examinations, procedures, and follow-up injections as needed.
  2. Obtain and record accurate medical histories, verify allergies, medications, and vital signs, and maintain confidentiality.
  3. Order, collect, and prepare laboratory specimens as needed, and explain treatment procedures to patients.
  4. Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, apply universal precautions, and maintain a sterile field as appropriate.
  5. Perform administrative duties, such as documenting patient communications and treatments accurately, answering telephones, and responding to clinical voice mail messages.
  6. Clean rooms, change linens, empty exam rooms of instruments that need to be cleaned, dispose of biohazard material, and assist with ordering clinical supplies.
  7. Maintain inventory and stocking of products, sterilize and clean equipment and supplies, and ensure maintenance of equipment is performed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Assisting, Surgical Technology, or Practical Nursing, or equivalent experience.
  • Current certification or licensure with no restrictions.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Knowledge of infection control, sterile technique, and basic health and safety precautions applicable for work in a clinic setting.

Salary:$55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

Work Environment:This position requires the ability to stand for up to eight hours a day, bend, reach, squat, kneel, move, lift patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs., and work in a fast-paced clinic setting.
