The Patient Support Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our nursing units. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide warm welcomes to new patients and ensure they feel comfortable during their hospital stay.
- Schedule patient appointments and respond promptly to call lights.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient charts and records.
- Ensure all staff members have necessary equipment and supplies.
- Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to facilitate patient care.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Data entry experience and basic computer skills preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology an asset.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation
