Patient Care Specialist

Job Description:

The Arkansas Government Job is seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to provide exceptional patient care and maintain a safe and clean environment. This role is critical in supporting the healthcare team and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Participate in daily task assignments and review previous shift reports to ensure effective care delivery.
  • Assist patients with their personal hygiene needs, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitor patients' conditions and notify nursing staff of any changes or concerns.
  • Collect vital signs, weights, and other necessary information, and administer routine treatments as required.
  • Provide support during meals by assisting with feeding, cleaning, and maintaining patient facilities.
  • Perform housekeeping tasks such as cleaning patient rooms, equipment, and linens.
  • Escort patients to and from appointments or engage them in recreational activities.
Workplace Requirements:

This role may involve working varied shifts, physical activity, and exposure to medical procedures.

Eligibility Criteria:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is essential for this position.
  • Certification or eligibility for certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant is required within six months of employment.
Annual Salary:

$26,034.00 - $37,749.00 per year.
