Job Summary: We are seeking a Patient Safety Observer to provide one-on-one observation of selected patients, identifying behaviors that may be hazardous to themselves or others, and reporting needs and concerns to licensed nurses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Observe patients to identify potential safety risks and report concerns to licensed nurses.
  • Provide support to patients to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous hospital experience preferred.
  • Ability to complete De-Escalation Techniques, Life Support Responder, and Management of Aggressive Behaviors training within 90 days of employment.
