Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at WellSpan Health. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in an acute care setting, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and wound care.
  • Assist with procedures and examinations, and provide education to patients and families.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Monitor patient medical conditions and report changes to appropriate personnel.
  • Prepare patients for scheduled procedures and assist with patient assessment.
  • Arrange for diagnostic and therapeutic services as ordered by physicians.
  • Provide health education and instruction to patients and families.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of patient medical records and confidentiality.
Requirements
  • Certificate Program Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training Required
  • 1 year Relevant experience Required
  • Licensed Practical Nurse Upon Hire Required or Licensed Practical Nurse Multi State License Upon Hire Required and Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Completion of accredited LPN program. Upon Hire Required and Rhythm recognition course per unit of assignment. Upon Hire Required and ACLS/PALS certification, as required. Upon Hire Required
