Compensation and Benefits

A competitive salary range: $138,060 - $172,582 per year. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets and may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills , and experience.

A full benefits package with choice of affordable PPO or HSA medical plans, including paid time off, up to $1,300 in free healthcare services paid by Amedisys yearly, when enrolled in an Amedisys HSA medical plan, up to $500 in wellness rewards for completing activities during the year, mental health support, 401(k) with a company match, family support with infertility treatment coverage*, adoption reimbursement, paid parental and family caregiver leave, fleet vehicle program (restrictions apply) and mileage reimbursement.

Job Description

As a Physical Therapist at Amedisys, you will help patients maintain, restore and improve movement, activity and function. You will provide interventions, conduct reexaminations (every 30 days, at minimum), modify interventions as necessary, and perform discharge planning. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

You must have a current license to practice physical therapy specific to the state you're assigned to work in. A graduate from an accredited physical therapy educational program as set by the Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE). One year related physical therapy experience for PTs entering home health care to ensure that knowledge and skills are sufficient to safely provide physical therapy services to patients. If less than one year of experience, approval from regional clinical leaders is required as well as appropriate mentoring and/or participating in a residency program. Current CPR certification.
