Quality Assurance Specialist

Cleveland-Cliffs Steel LLC is a leading steel producer in North America, and we are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team.
About the Role:The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet customer requirements and specifications. This involves performing technical reviews of customer specifications and purchase orders, investigating and resolving customer order problems, and supporting various departments to resolve technical product issues.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and control data inputs to metallurgical systems
- Investigate and resolve customer order problems relating to manufacturing and customer material
- Assist various departments to resolve technical product issues
- Support Sales Order Entry processes (RFQ, Spec Review, and Capability)
- Develop Routing to meet Customer Specifications
- Maintain Standard Operating Procedures for manufacturing of products
- Product development trials for processing
- Disposition non-conforming material
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's Degree in Metallurgy/Material Science or other related discipline
- Extensive computer skills
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- 3 or more years' experience in steel processing, steelmaking, or industrial environment

The estimated salary for this role is $90,000-$130,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
