Position Summary:

The Branch Manager will take charge of all facets of branch operations, which includes staff leadership, member engagement, financial oversight, and community involvement. The ideal candidate will exhibit robust leadership and mentoring abilities, a dedication to member satisfaction, and a zeal for assisting members in reaching their financial aspirations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Team Development: Inspire, guide, and empower branch personnel to achieve exceptional performance and outstanding member service. Conduct regular assessments of performance and provide coaching and development opportunities.
  • Operational Management: Supervise daily branch activities, ensuring adherence to credit union policies and procedures, as well as compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Financial Oversight: Evaluate and enhance branch financial outcomes, including achieving sales targets, managing budgets, and optimizing profitability.
  • Member Engagement: Cultivate a positive member experience by addressing inquiries, resolving challenges, and ensuring high satisfaction levels. Promote and cross-sell credit union products and services.
  • Community Relations: Act as the credit union's representative within the community, fostering connections with local businesses and organizations. Formulate and execute strategies to enhance branch visibility and community participation.
  • Risk Management: Safeguard branch security, operational integrity, and compliance with all risk management protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred. Equivalent professional experience may be considered.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years in branch management or a comparable leadership role within a financial services context is preferred. Familiarity with credit union policies and procedures is essential.
  • Skills: Exceptional leadership, organizational, and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in financial management, sales strategies, and customer service. Capability to analyze and interpret financial data.
