Dental Hygienist Position

Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Dental Hygienist to provide top-notch patient care and support our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be an integral member of our patient care team, working closely with our doctors and other staff members to deliver exceptional care and experiences to our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide thorough and gentle dental hygiene services to patients, including cleanings, exams, and patient education.
- Work closely with our doctors and other staff members to develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients.
- Conduct thorough medical and dental histories, and perform patient screenings as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, and communicate effectively with patients and other staff members.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest techniques and technologies in dental hygiene.
- Current dental hygienist license in Wisconsin and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation.
- CPR Certification.
- Any years of clinical experience.
- Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position.
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.

The position will have access to minimum PHI necessary for performing job-related functions; regular HIPAA training, aligning with the specific role and responsibilities, will be required; and the individual will need to protect PHI and maintain data safeguards.
As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, and any necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided. Not applicable in the state of FL & TN.
