Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management
- Assist in the timely collection and posting of rents.
- Ensure daily bank deposits are made and accurately recorded.
- Support eviction processes and utility cut-offs as necessary.
Human Resources
- Facilitate new employee orientation and guide on-site staff regarding procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information and ensure proper handling of personnel files.
Administrative Duties
- Ensure completeness of lease files and proper execution of all leases.
- Assist in creating staff schedules and managing office conditions.
- Conduct all activities in alignment with company policies.
Resident Engagement
- Foster positive relationships with residents and address their concerns promptly.
- Welcome prospective tenants and provide information about available units and amenities.
- Respond to tenant inquiries and complaints in a timely manner.
Property Maintenance
- Regularly inspect the property and verify the condition of vacant units.
- Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure timely apartment reconditioning.
- Oversee and schedule all service activities effectively.
Marketing and Leasing
- Stay informed about market trends and neighborhood conditions.
- Show properties to potential residents and manage incoming inquiries.
- Review rental applications and make decisions on approvals or rejections.
Safety and Compliance
- Conduct semi-annual property inspections and safety meetings.
- Ensure all workers' compensation claims are reported promptly.
General Responsibilities
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Community Manager.
- Reliable transportation for site visits.
- Basic understanding of Multifamily Community Management and Fair Housing Regulations.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in onsite community management.
- Strong organizational and technical skills, including proficiency in MS Word and Excel; experience with Yardi is advantageous.
