Position Summary
The role involves ensuring that manufacturing machinery operates effectively, adhering to approved standards while maintaining all production and support equipment to guarantee optimal efficiency and zero defects.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high-speed automation equipment, tools, and related machinery according to established specifications.
- Achieve or surpass production benchmarks while minimizing product rejection rates.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance quality, cycle times, and overall process performance.
- Monitor measurement systems, SPC, or other performance metrics, proactively addressing any negative trends.
- Review product FMEA's and Control Plans for compliance and improvement.
- Possess skills as a multi-craft technician, capable of repairing electro-mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Utilize basic hand tools along with micrometers, calipers, multi-meters, and other testing instruments.
- Troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic circuits, analyzing documentation within the designated area of responsibility.
- Demonstrate basic PLC programming skills for troubleshooting equipment and associated processes.
- Evaluate products and processes, facilitating repairs or adjustments to enhance line performance and meet quality standards.
Shift Information
Available shifts include 2nd shift (Monday to Friday, 3 PM to 11 PM) and 3rd shift (Monday to Friday, 11 PM to 7:30 AM).
Qualifications
Basic Requirements
- AAS Degree or within 12 months of obtaining one, OR
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant maintenance or repair experience.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is mandatory; sponsorship for employment visas is not available for this position.
- Relocation assistance is not provided for this role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in a technical field along with 2-5 years of experience in electromechanical maintenance.
- Possession of a State Approved Journeyman's Card.
- Experience in automotive manufacturing.
- Familiarity with process automation.
- Ability to read blueprints/schematics and access electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical drawings in SAP/CSE.
