Network Infrastructure Specialist

The Network Administrator is responsible for ensuring the continuity of network services for the campus by planning, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting network infrastructure components and operating systems in support of academic, student, and administrative services.
This role will also provide assistance to the end-user in the use of the campus network, and campus hardware and software dependent on network services.
The Network Administrator will work collaboratively with the team to plan and develop the college's information infrastructure and data security strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, install, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure components and operating systems
- Provide assistance to end-users in the use of the campus network and hardware/software
- Collaborate with the team to plan and develop the college's information infrastructure and data security strategies
- Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology or related field
- Three to Five years of experience in a network or technology support position
- Combination of education and experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered
- Demonstrated knowledge of TCP/IP and basic network services
- Demonstrated computer hardware maintenance and troubleshooting skills
- Experience in server administration using current Windows server products
- Demonstrated experience with the installation and configuration of network switches and routers
- Experience with current Windows client operating systems
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability and desire to develop supervisory and team-building skills
- Knowledge in Cyber Security Standards
- Knowledge with O365 Administration is a plus
- MCSA or MCSE certification is a plus
