Join Our Team as a Subterranean Construction Supervisor
Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Subterranean Construction Supervisor to lead our crew and contribute to vital infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the installation of underground telecommunications cabling.
- Direct, coordinate, and mentor crew members in the proper placement and repair of underground telecommunications cables, ensuring compliance with contract specifications and operational standards.
- Ensure that all team members adhere to safety protocols, quality benchmarks, and production targets as outlined by company policies.
- Operate and manage diesel or gasoline-powered equipment on job sites.
- Conduct underground cable location tasks.
- Perform flagging, property restoration, and general construction duties, including physical labor such as using hand tools and lifting materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Inspect vehicles and equipment for any defects.
- Interpret blueprints and maintain daily production logs, OSHA documentation, and other necessary reports.
- Carry out additional responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the Telecommunications or Utility Construction/Maintenance sector is preferred.
- Possession of a valid driver's license (CDL preferred).
- Ability to safely operate various utility trucks, equipment, and hand tools.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and interpreting utility maps to identify underground utilities.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Capable of lifting and carrying 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as necessary.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and emergency on-call situations, in all weather conditions.
