About the Role

Clarvida - West Virginia is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to provide direct care and support services to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide hands-on support and assistance to clients with IDD in their daily lives, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
  • Assist clients with medication management, including transportation, documentation, and administration of medication under the supervision of a staff RN.
  • Support clients in developing and maintaining independent living skills through person-centered supports, such as habilitation training and community integration.
  • Assist clients in achieving competitive paid employment in integrated community settings through supported employment services.
  • Provide respite care and temporary support to clients and their caregivers as needed.
