Job Summary

Vistex is seeking an experienced Industry Principal to build strategic partnerships with clients and provide thought leadership in the industry. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies and programs, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Engagement: Collaborate with the sales team to turn high-probability leads into qualified opportunities and close deals. Conduct rapid assessments and value engineering to identify pain points and assess opportunities to enhance GTM strategy, workflows, and infrastructure.
  • Sales Support: Provide industry expertise and direction to support the sales and services teams with RFPs, demonstrations, presentations, and deal strategy. Participate in client meetings and provide knowledge transfer to sales and consulting teams.
  • Strategic Engagement and Thought Leadership: Lead strategic engagements with clients from GTM strategic assessment to best-of-breed program design and implementation. Demonstrate thought leadership regarding industry trends and GTM best practices to clients and the Vistex organization.
  • Product Management and Analytics Support: Provide industry-specific guidance to the product management team, assess competitive offerings, and communicate functional requirements regarding Vistex GTM software solutions. Collaborate with the analytics team to ensure that reporting, dashboarding, and analytics projects reflect industry terminology and KPIs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a deep understanding of GTM strategies and programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment.
  • Ability to maintain focus and stay in control under stressful and challenging circumstances.
  • Strong understanding of industry trends, market conditions, and competitive environments.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong presentation and problem-solving skills.
