- Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each student.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and ensure a comprehensive approach to student care.
- Direct Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services to students, including speech, language, and communication therapy.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records and documentation of student progress and treatment plans.
- Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in New York.
- Experience: Experience in a school setting is preferred, but not required.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
