Fraud Prevention and Detection Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Fraud Prevention and Detection Lead to join our team at USAA. As a key member of our risk management team, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating high-risk activities that could impact our members' financial security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective fraud prevention strategies to minimize losses and protect member assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address process deficiencies and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Monitor operational metrics to provide insights to management on business performance and recommend solutions to improve fraud prevention.
- Provide expert knowledge of fraud policies, processes, and systems to support risk management initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure our risk management strategies remain effective.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in risk management, fraud investigation, or a related field.
- Expert knowledge of enterprise fraud management platforms and techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
