About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our Amazon FSx for Lustre team. As a key member of our team, you will design and build transformative new customer experiences on Amazon FSx for Lustre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-performance and scalable software solutions for Amazon FSx for Lustre
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality and innovative features
  • Work closely with customers to understand their needs and deliver solutions that meet their expectations
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in cloud computing and high-performance storage
About Amazon FSx for Lustre

Amazon FSx for Lustre is a fast-growing AWS service that makes it easy for customers to launch and run high-performance file systems in the cloud. With Amazon FSx, customers can provision a Lustre parallel file system that can process massive data sets at up to hundreds of gigabytes per second of throughput, millions of IOPS, and sub-millisecond latencies.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
