Novant Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Aide, CNA I Behavioral Health Inpatient to join our team. As a CNA I, you will work under the direction of the Nurse Manager and under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse or delegated Licensed Practical Nurse to provide patient care within your scope of practice.
Responsibilities:
- Competently perform a variety of patient care activities to meet the daily personal needs and comfort of the patient.
- Appropriately communicate information in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Organize, prioritize, and perform work effectively and efficiently.
- Maintain and adjust schedule to enhance team performance.
- Demonstrate a daily commitment to the values of the department.
- Demonstrate positive interpersonal relations in dealing with all members of the team.
- Maintain and promote customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrate the NHRMC's Standards of Performance & Service and Operational Excellence on the unit.
- Responsible for completing a variety of department specific tasks to assist with optimal department safety and functioning.
- Perform moderate or waived point of care testing per CLIA guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Certified Nursing Assistant I (CNA I) certification.
- General Education Degree.
