Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Door Technician to join our team at D.H. Pace Company, Inc. in Chapel Hill and surrounding areas.

As a Commercial Door Technician, you will be responsible for installing and repairing a wide range of automatic doors, manual entry doors, commercial doors, and door hardware. You will work with industry experts to develop your skills and knowledge in this field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and repair automatic doors, manual entry doors, commercial doors, and door hardware
  • Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services
  • Track and maintain job-related paperwork and submit it in a timely manner
  • Work in a safety-conscious manner at all times while performing job duties
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED (preferred)
  • At least one (1+) year experience in the commercial/automatic/entry door industry (preferred)
  • Ability to safely lift up to 100 pounds
  • Ability to work at heights and use a ladder
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
