Commercial Door Installation Specialist

At D.H. Pace Company, Inc., we are seeking skilled Commercial Door Technicians & Installers to join our team in Chapel Hill and surrounding areas. As a Commercial Door Technician, you will be trained by industry experts to perform installation and repairs of automatic doors, manual entry doors, commercial doors, and door hardware.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in construction labor, electrical work, carpentry, installing and servicing products, and mechanic experiences. If you enjoy challenging yourself and becoming a trusted advisor to others, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and/or repair a wide range of automatic doors, manual entry doors, commercial doors, and door hardware.
- Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services.
- Track and maintain job-related paperwork and submit it in a timely manner.
- Operate in a safety-conscious manner at all times while performing job duties.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED (preferred).
- At least one (1+) year experience in the commercial/automatic/entry door industry (preferred).
- Ability to safely lift up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to work at heights and use a ladder.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
