We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our E2E Data & Analytics team. As a Staff Data Scientist, you will be responsible for developing advanced data science models and leading data-driven projects from conception to implementation. Your expertise will empower our business customers to make data-driven decisions in areas such as Supply Chain, Store Operation, Last Mile Delivery, and Innovation & Transformation.
Key Responsibilities- Model Development: Apply sophisticated data science and advanced analytics models to produce valuable insights that guide decision-making and enhance business outcomes.
- Data Engineering: Collaborate with data engineers to preprocess, clean, and structure data for model training and evaluation.
- Machine Learning Operations (MLOps): Deploy and maintain machine learning models in production environments, ensuring reliability and scalability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, data engineers, software engineers, product, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Communication: Engage in effective communication with business stakeholders regarding model insights and the strategic importance of advanced analytics.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior associates on story types, structures, and techniques based on context.
- 5+ years of experience in utilizing advanced analytics to solve business problems.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing advanced data science models and leading data-driven projects from conception to implementation.
- Proficient coding in one or more languages: Java, C++, Python, Spark, Scala, or R.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and querying.
- Proficient with data warehouse like BigQuery and cloud platforms (GCP, Azure).
- Extensive experience in MLOps and deploying/managing machine learning models.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and innovatively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Track record of successfully interacting with business stakeholders and driving productive conversations.
- Experience mentoring junior operations research or machine learning scientists.
