Key Responsibilities:
This role encompasses advanced specialized nursing duties requiring an active Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) certification. The incumbent will deliver comprehensive primary and preventive healthcare services, which include family planning, management of sexually transmitted infections, primary care, HIV services, and pediatric care. All services will be provided in accordance with established protocols and under the guidance of a licensed medical practitioner.

The responsibilities include:
  • Conducting thorough health assessments and documenting medical and psychosocial histories.
  • Performing physical examinations and developing treatment plans, including the ability to prescribe medications and therapies.
  • Diagnosing health issues and providing patient education, counseling, and necessary referrals.
  • Ordering and interpreting diagnostic laboratory tests and adjusting medications based on patient responses.
  • Assisting physicians in managing both chronic and acute health conditions.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:
- Must be available to work outside of regular hours during emergencies, including potential deployment to special needs shelters or disaster response situations.

  • Possession of a valid Florida APRN license.
  • Willingness to travel to various locations as required.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
