Nurse Care Specialist

As a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse with TotalMed Staffing, you will provide skilled nursing care in medical-surgical units. Your responsibilities will include assessing, planning, and implementing patient care, collaborating with the Medical Surgical registered nurse team, and ensuring quality care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct nursing care to patients in medical-surgical units, including assessment, medication administration, and wound care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
• Monitor patient progress, assess vital signs, and respond to changes in condition promptly.
• Educate patients and their families on post-surgical care instructions, medication management, and recovery expectations.
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements:
• Current RN license
• BLS (Other Certifications as required by facility)
• Two years of recent Medical Surgical RN experience
• Strong communication and adaptability skills.
