Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Bellevue Medical Center's 3rd Floor Cardiac & Stroke Unit. As a key member of our care team, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to cardiac and stroke patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the Care Pair Model, pairing with a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide comprehensive care and enhance patient satisfaction.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) required; Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree preferred.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Nebraska or current compact state license required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification department-dependent required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire or transfer date department-dependent required.
