Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Travel PCU Nurse in Grand Island, NE. As a Travel PCU Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in a PCU setting, with a preference for 2 years or more.
  • Valid RN license in the state of Nebraska.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
