Autonomy Evaluation Leader

What You'll Do
You'll be responsible for defining success criteria from ambiguous problem statements, driving evaluation strategies, and ensuring comprehensive validation of AV performance with high fidelity signals. As an individual contributor, you'll analyze AV performance data to extract insights and opportunities for optimization, develop new methodologies, test and deploy methods in our simulation environment, collaborate with AV Software Engineers, and convert insights into actionable recommendations.
Requirements
A Master's or PhD degree in Robotics, Transportation, Physics, Aerospace Engineering, or a closely-related field. 5+ years post-academic experience in evaluating large models, data science, machine learning, or a closely-related field. Strong software engineering foundation and proficiency in production-environment coding and best practices. Proficiency in SQL and Python. Experience designing, training, and critically analyzing machine learning models for big data. Solid statistical foundations, familiarity with hypothesis testing, statistical power, and common biases in data.
