Critical Care RN Leader

The Critical Care RN Leader at Unity Health Toronto is responsible for providing expert nursing care to patients in the cardiovascular ICU. As a leader, you will be accountable for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and collaborating with inter-professional teams to achieve optimal health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
- Conduct regular assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of care plans
- Provide health education and support to patients and families
Required Qualifications:
- Current General Class Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- BLS Certification
- A minimum of 1 year of current Critical Care experience
- George Brown College Critical Care Certification or equivalent certification
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an acute care setting
Estimated Salary: $95,000 - $130,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This salary range reflects the competitive market rate for a critical care nurse leader in a large Canadian city.
