About the Role

We are seeking an experienced developer to manage workflow functionality for Enterprise Risk Management Applications at State Street Global Technology Services ERM systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop applications using Java/J2EE
  • Coordinate a global team to deliver workflow functionality for the Risk Management applications
  • Provide technical domain expertise in concert with business application knowledge to lead the team towards optimal solutions
  • Responsible for all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including design, coding, integration testing, deployment, and documentation
  • A strong developer with good technical skills who will champion close collaboration across business and technology teams

Requirements

  • 7 plus years of experience in Java/Spring/Microservices
  • Experience on AWS Cloud, Kafka messaging, UI stack using react and java microservices
  • Experience in ORACLE SQL
  • Experience in workflow management and experience in BPM, Drools is a plus
  • Negotiator, consensus builder, good communicator and motivator
  • Confidence in dealing with all levels of the organization, both internal and external
  • Solid problem-solving and analytical skills along with an understanding organizational process

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters or B.S. degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 7+ years of experience as Java/J2EE developer
  • Financial Services Background with Risk and Regulatory Experience
  • Extensive experience in Java/J2EE, Springboot, ORACLE, Micro Services and AWS

Salary Range:

$100,000 - $160,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
