Key Responsibilities- Take charge of vessel operations, including navigation, maintenance, and safety procedures.
- Lead a team of crew members to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve vessel performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Captain to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and report any issues or concerns to the Captain.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service.
- USCG Master 100GT, Near Coastal certification.
- STCW Basic Training certification.
- Valid MMC and credentials required for vessel service.
- Experience operating Dynamic Positioning Systems.
- First Aid certification.
- FCC Marine Radio Operator Permit or greater.
- USCG Mate 500GT Oceans with RADAR, ARPA, ECDIS, BRM certification.
- STCW Medical Care Provider certification.
- Dynamic Positioning Operator Certification.
- Rigger and Crane Operator training.
- Ability to work effectively as a team member.
- Skilled in vessel maneuvering.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Desire to learn and improve.
- Skilled at safe and efficient use of modern navigation systems.
- Knowledge in engineering, technical systems, and maintenance.
- Proficient in computer-based log keeping.
- Operational HSSE-Q knowledge.
