Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement system security requirements and designs that ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security threats and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Design and implement secure architectures for complex systems and applications.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and standards for system security.
Requirements:
  • 17 years of experience in systems engineering and security with a focus on system security design and implementation.
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks, regulations, and standards, including NIST and DoD.
  • Experience with security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of cloud security and compliance frameworks, including AWS and Azure.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools, including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of system performance, availability, scalability, manageability, and security requirements.
