This position also involves acquiring skills in the proper utilization of tools and equipment for maintenance and troubleshooting tasks. The primary emphasis is on ensuring a secure working environment and fostering an outstanding Environment of Care for our institution.
Qualifications:
- Experience: A basic understanding of maintenance functions in healthcare, educational, or industrial environments is essential. Prior experience as a maintenance technician is advantageous.
- Education: A High School diploma or equivalent is required. Additional training from a Technical or Vocational School is highly regarded.
- Certifications: An EPA approved Universal Certification for handling Refrigerants is mandatory. A valid Driver's License and specific Licensure may be required for certain locations.
- Skills: Excellent communication abilities, capacity to adhere to instructions, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively are crucial. Proficiency in computer applications and outstanding customer service skills are also necessary.
