Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist

As a Cardiovascular Tech at Emerson Hospital, you will perform a wide range of diagnostic cardiographic testing on patients under the supervision of physicians and the practice manager.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct diagnostic cardiographic testing, including EKGs and holter monitoring
- Operate medical equipment, such as the GE Centricity electronic medical record (EMR) and Meditech
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of cardiovascular and thoracic anatomy, pathophysiology, and hemodynamics
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information
- High School Diploma required
- One to two years of relevant work experience as a Cardiovascular Technologist or EKG Technician
- Certified Exercise Specialist (CES) certification preferred
- Strong communication and computer skills
- Ability to maintain confidential information
