Job Title: Sr. Municipal Engineer

Gannett Fleming is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Municipal Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Water Corporate Business Group, you will be responsible for leading multiple project-related tasks with state, local, and municipal clients in the region, mentoring junior staff, and working in a dynamic yet collaborative team setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical direction and guidance to ensure quality management, design, and technical services are provided to clients, while meeting performance targets such as scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
  • Lead civil and water resources-related planning and design projects, including general municipal public works projects, sanitary sewer designs, stormwater management, local, county, and state permitting, and construction phase services.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies, including proposal preparation, interviews, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with subconsultants and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Interact with clients with minimal oversight from the Business Unit manager, including attendance at regularly scheduled Township, Borough, and Authority meetings as requested by the client.
Requirements:
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Water Resources Engineering, or a related field of practice.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in municipal engineering with direct involvement in zoning, subdivisions, and stormwater work.
  • Pennsylvania Professional Engineer license required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, good public speaking ability, and strong project financial management skills.
  • Knowledge of production support systems and personal computer proficiency.
