About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled EHS Compliance Specialist to join our team at Stantec. As a key member of our Environmental Services group, you will be responsible for delivering EHS projects to our clients, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the delivery of EHS projects, including due diligence, auditing, and compliance assurance.
  • Develop and implement EHS procedures and training programs.
  • Conduct environmental assessments and studies, including environmental remediation and restoration.
  • Provide on-site EHS support at client facilities, including routine inspections and development of EHS programs.
  • Technical consulting for clients on regulatory compliance matters, including permit management and routine regulatory reporting.
  • Develop and implement storm water pollution prevention plans (SWPPs) and Spill Prevention and Control Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years related experience.
  • Strong organizational and communications skills.
  • Ability to analyze technical data and problem solve.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
  • OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training preferred.
