Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Respiratory Technician to join our team at South Shore Health. As a Respiratory Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our respiratory therapy team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer oxygen therapy and other respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests (PFTs) and analyze results to diagnose respiratory conditions
  • Assist respiratory therapists with patient care and treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatments and progress
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • Current enrollment in an approved school of Respiratory Care or successful completion of the program
  • Current, full or limited, Massachusetts Respiratory Care license
  • BLS certification
  • Previous clinical respiratory hospital rotations
Preferred Qualifications
  • ACLS certification for treating adult patients
  • PALS certification for treating pediatric patients
